The NDP leader Jagmeet Singh might be a little upset that he didn’t get the first black president’s endorsement, but he can’t feign any indignation over “foreign influence.” Singh is the one who said, to exactly no news media questioning or criticism, that he hoped President Trump was impeached before he’d ever get a chance to meet him as Prime Minister Singh.
“I hope he gets impeached before I get to speak to him,” said Singh as the NDP fans cheered.
Quite a thing to say for a guy who hopes to be prime minister. Pretty impetuous.
