MSNBC uses known faked, Photoshopped photos of Sarah Palin to deride, demean, and sexualize her

  Possible alternate bog entry title: Liberals are without principle, part 9,477

The abortion party, which pretends to be the arbiter of “equality” and “feminism” and extends that fakery to the supposed love of “diversity” and “tolerance” and “science” and “being smart” and so much more, continues exercising its Palin Derangement Syndrome.  Actually I don’t think it’s anything as benign as “Palin Derangement Syndrome”.  I think it’s an old-fashioned, outright left-wing, anti-conservative, anti-woman political smear campaign by an organization — NBC — which holds itself out to be a “news” organization, but which is actually a hit squad for the left.

The photos they use in their character assassination attempt are photos that even the stupidest basement liberal-left blogger knows are fakes.  Therefore, giving NBC perhaps too much credit (assuming they are smarter than the stupidest left-wing blogger), NBC must have KNOWN they were using faked photos.  Somebody in the stable of left-wing “journalists” must have known.

MSNBC Uses Fake, ‘Sexy’ Photos of Sarah Palin on Air;
Will Network Correct and Apologize?

On Friday’s edition of Morning Meeting, host Dylan Ratigan featured fake photos of Sarah Palin during a mocking segment on why Americans are fascinated with the former vice presidential candidate. While listing the show’s top ten reasons, Ratigan showed a doctored photo of Palin’s head on the bikini-clad body of a woman holding a weapon.

The host never admitted or addressed the fact that his network was passing off counterfeit pictures to his viewers. Earlier in the segment, Ratigan displayed an image of Palin in a short, black mini-skirt. This photo is also not real. MSNBC should immediately apologize for presenting such false information.

… During the segment, Ratigan repeatedly and dismissively referred to Palin’s looks. One reason he mentioned for the Republican’s popularity: “She’s also very hot.” Talking to a fellow MSNBC host, he wondered, “Hey, listen. That’s big, wouldn’t you say, Contessa [Brewer]?”

MRC includes lots of other media reports concerning what the media would love you to believe they really thought was an inconsequential Sarah Palin —that bozo who can’t be taken seriously by anybody and certainly not them in the media.  Here’s some just from the past couple of days:

MRC earlier reported on a segment of CBS’s morning show where (our!) Ann Coulter appeared, and was asked extensively about Sarah Palin’s book —which of course proves what a “joke” Sarah Palin is to liberals.  MRC provided a full transcript, but here’s a snippet:

COULTER:  …No, I mean, McCain – the – he was the media’s favorite Republican. So any criticism his side made of Palin was instantly printed and now we finally get the pay back. And I’m looking forward to it.

SMITH: This – it’s interesting because she represents a kind of orthodoxy within the Republican Party, right?

COULTER: Yeah, I’d put it a little differently.

SMITH: How would you say it?

COULTER: I would say she is an authentic American the way most members of the media are not, that certainly Frank Rich and Maureen Dowd do not represent the average American. She has a blue collar union-card-holding husband. She can go and be comfortable in very many parts of the country where Maureen Dowd and Frank Rich would never deign to visit, much less be comfortable. …

image This now farcical lame-stream media effort to politically kill all conservative women (and blacks) sort of reminds me of how the National Post devoted 3/4 of a page of their newspaper to explain how Ann Coulter is irrelevant and should be ignored by all (starting right after they get over her).

They, too, didn’t — and I’m sure still don’t — get the joke they make of themselves, and they fail to appreciate that they are demonstrating their own too-numerous-to-count follies — the insecurity, the lies, the dishonest reporting, the liberal-left bias, the none-too-subtle anti-conservative innuendo through the conflation of news pieces and opinion, and ultimately, their irrelevance as a credible “news” organization.

They’re the joke.  Sarah Palin is a huge best-selling author now, on top of the many other laudable attributes on her resumé.
