Missed by a couple of days

I’m upset they didn’t get Al Qaeda in Iraq leader Al Zarqawi on 6-6-6.  But liberals will be even more remorseful today, as one of the fiercest opponents of the American and British “imperialists” and “war criminals” in Iraq has been killed—by the Americans.  It’s a sign of further victory for freedom and democracy in Iraq, see?  Damn it’s been a bad week for liberals.

Can you just hear Jack Layton or any of his cabal in the you’ve got to be kidding party or their brothers in the Liberal Party or the Toronto Star coming out today and saying “Hey great!  Good kill!”

And allow me to start the countdown to the liberal-left media shifting attention to all the OTHER people who died collaterally during the Al Zarqawi-killing air mission:  5…4…3…

P.S. – When discussing the mission to kill Al Zarqawi with your liberal friends, don’t exclaim: “Another Mission Accomplished!” because they’ll just get all confused again.

Another P.S. – I noticed CTV.ca’s headline is “Zarqawi death hailed as ‘victory for war on terror’ ”.  See above—that’s a “bad news” headling for liberals.  Note the quotes around victory for war on terror.  CBC would have to add “so-called” before war on terror.

Another P.S. – For the first time in memory, Little Green Footballs—my number one source for Islamofascist news (and most people’s I guess)—is overwhelmed by hits and is down at this time.  UPDATE:  It’s up again.  Charles Johnson’s blog entry about it is entitled “Candygram for Zarqawi”.  Damn that Charles.
