The liberal-left Canadian media was all over Venezuelan communist leader Hugo Chavez’s speech at the United Nations division of the liberal-left last month, in which he compared U.S. President George Bush to “the devil” and used the word “Satan” to describe him and the stench of sulfur that he said remained after President Bush’s speech, but just try and find this story in the Canadian media today:
Mass Venezuela opposition rally
Tens of thousands of people have marched through the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, in support of the main opposition candidate, Manuel Rosales.
Mr Rosales will face President Hugo Chavez in December’s presidential poll.
The march, which filled the main avenues of the city centre, was the biggest opposition rally Venezuela has seen since early 2004.
