Little Brain on the Canadian Liberal

I’ve shown PTBC readers the top-10, 15, or 20 TV ratings list in Canada once or twice a month now for years, although I haven’t done it for a few months (summer is slow TV time), so below is the recent sampling.

Note that once again, as always, no Canadian shows make the top 10, 15, 20, or this time, or even the top 30 except the CTV’s National News (no, not the state-news media), and CTV’s Corner Gas (a show we actually watch).

The CTV is notably “private enterprise”.  Again for the liberals, that’s “private enterprise”—not state-owned or state-run. They are forced to compete against the state.  This is Canada, with liberals, in our streets, and within every orifice of our being.  Thank you.

This fabulous result despite the state spending countless BILLIONS over the years to get Canadian content.  BILLIONS and BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars of taxpayer cash —utterly wasted on things like the state-run CBC (that’s a billion each and every year on its own) to produce exactly nothing that more than a few Canadians want to watch; and on subsidizing Canadian productions (and every show that is even remotely “Canadian”-produced has the official Government of Canada image  communist-like logo during the credits symbolizing the socialist state’s involvement in, well, as much as they can conceivably be involved in—because that’s what socialist governments do).

But in case you think all that isn’t stupid enough just yet, there’s word of a new state-run series on the state-run media slated for January.  It’s supposedly going to be a “Canadian” production, called “Little Mosque on the Prairie”.  See, that would be an embarrassingly lame Canadian twist on a purely American and hugely successful TV series a few years ago called Little House on the Prairie starring the late Michael Landon and several others, which could EASILY have been a Canadian series but for the fact that it promoted good, clean, traditional family nation-building values, and a pioneering spirit of personal responsibility.  As we know, that ain’t liberal.

I have little doubt that the arrogant and anti-Canadian liberal “arts” buffoons will use this taxpayer-financed piece of work to depict regular Canadians as racist asses and bigots, and shame us, in light of so many Muslims wanting us dead.  The thing is produced by… a former CBC writer.  Shocka.

Gee.  I have no idea why Canadian productions fail.  No idea.

As always, I’ll use the opportunity to remind readers that state-run or state-owned media should be absolutely BANNED in this country, and it should be enshrined in our Constitution as such.

(Hat tip to many emailers who are shaking their heads over the “Little Mosque on the Prairie” potential nonsense).
