Gee. Ya think?
Gosh, thanks for that Mr. Liberal. I’m sure Mr. Harper had no clue.
And now that you all are leaving town, it just might be possible to fix what you damn near ruined as the anti-American buffoons that you were and still are. Buh-bye now!
Manley to Harper: Mend Canada-U.S. relations
TORONTO (CP) – Repairing Canada’s relationship with the United States and establishing common North American security strategies should be top priorities for Prime Minister Stephen Harper, former deputy prime minister John Manley said Monday.
The longtime senior cabinet minister, who recently ruled out a run to replace Paul Martin as federal Liberal leader, said the two countries need to come together on issues such as border security, despite differences of opinion on foreign policy and trade.
“We need to invest a great deal in the effort to re-establish the proximity of our relationship with the United States,” Manley said at a Toronto forum on security issues.
Manley said he has long believed that a prime minister’s biggest responsibility, outside of national unity, is managing Canada’s relationship with the United States, its largest and most significant trading partner. […]
I doubt that we need to take any instruction from any liberals regarding relations with our friends the Americans, and how they need to fix that relationship.
