Svend is still thinking about it. I’m thinking Parrish should join the NDP, and then the NDP and the Liberal Party should merge. Parrish as leader, Svend as deputy. Martin as donut boy.
Maverick MP Carolyn Parrish tells constituents she won’t seek re-election
When they say “Maverick”, they’re talking about the Ford Maverick which was cancelled years ago.
She’s the Liberal Member of Parliament, representing our nation, who took to the state-run media (the CBC) and stomped on a doll of President Bush repeatedly with her size-13 leather boot, then picked up the doll, placed it on a desk, and jammed a state-owned pencil into the doll’s right eye repeatedly.
At another time, she called Americans “morons”, and said that she “hates” those “bastards”.
It was only after she made some gentle, inane little pokes at the esteemed Liberal Leader (no, not Michael Moore, but it might as well have been), Paul (“we lead the world”) Martin, that Martin finally let her go.
Only recently, it was rumored that the Liberals tried to get her back. Even she rejected them. Perhaps they’re too dishonest for her liking.
Expect to see her in the Senate soon.
