Reason 104 to get Fox News Channel:
Laura Ingraham, smarty, will give Fox News Channel a try with her own show starting Monday June 16 in the 5 PM (Eastern) time slot. “Just In with Laura Ingraham.”
It’s just a 3-week trial for now, which will replace “America’s Election HQ”, since that show now isn’t as vital with the Democratic Party primaries finally over. FNC will also be trying out other personalities in that 5-PM Eastern time slot after Laura’s 3 weeks.
Laura Ingraham has been a radio talk-show star for a long time, and a permanent fill-in for Bill O’Reilly on the O’Reilly Factor mostly on Fridays.
Funny, smart, true-blue conservative, and feisty as all-get-out.
Some people still don’t realize that Fox News Channel is now unbanned in Canada after a huge effort was mounted by the likes of PTBC to convince the regulator of what we’re allowed to watch on TV and listen to on the radio, the liberals’ CRTC division, to unban it. The liberals’ CRTC actually considered the idea of slapping a censor/monitor order on Fox News Channel if they approved their broadcast license at all, just as they did Al-Jazeera—to monitor what was said before it got out on air. They approved Al-Jazeera before they approved Fox News Channel. It is by far the most popular cable news network in the U.S., often doubling the ratings of CNN and beating all the competing news networks combined. It’s completely different than anything you’ve seen on Canadian TV. It’s not boring, they’re fair and balanced, and they’re actually on America’s side.
Call your cable or satellite company and get Fox News Channel. It’s the best channel in available in Canada.
EXTRA:
I was looking around at the news about Laura’s radio show, which is currently on hiatus while contract negotiations are in snag mode (Monika Crowley replacing her for now).
Laura Ingraham’s radio show is among the top talk-radio shows in America at number 6 in listenership behind (in order) Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, Dr. Laura, and Glenn Beck. Howard Stern is number 13 in the ratings. Bill O’Reilly’s radio show is number 11.
