“Spend more on bilingualism, language commissioner tells government” screams the state-owned CBC.ca website division of the English language branch of the CBC state-owned media branch of the government, regarding the “Language Commissioner” secretariat, and his demands made to the nanny state poobahs (the government) that they increase taxes such that more of our cash—another billion—can be redirected from our families to the more important matter of ensuring that we all accommodate the language of The Nation Of Quebec and other “nations”.
Here’s a quote from the article:
He said that in assessing the status of bilingualism, some areas made little progress while “data show that in regards to the language of work, the situation has even deteriorated in some institutions.”
Some institutions you say. Oh dear. I hope the farm report doesn’t reflect badly on the state’s official five-year plan.
