Memo to Jack Layton of Canada’s you’ve got to be kidding party, and others in the tea and bun set:
Anti-Israel liberal Democrat (and worst President in modern history) Jimmy Carter’s effort to negotiate with terrorists has become more than a serious mistake and a bad joke, it’s become yet another good lesson in the effectiveness of dealing with terrorists. (Thankfully for most of us in this nation, Mr. Layton, you and your tribe won’t be afforded the opportunity to be tested on this lesson, at least not in any official capacity, not that you’ve even tried despite all your incessant blather).
• Carter (who won’t discuss anything with anyone on Fox News Channel because they’re considered the real enemy —hey Mr. Layton: same same!), said that Hamas told him Hamas would finally, suddenly, reverse everything it ever stood for, and recognize Israel.
• Immediately after Carter’s triumphant news conference, the terrorist Hamas group declared they will not actually recognize Israel at all. But at least Carter legitimized the anti-Israel and anti-west terrorists and honored them with his presence, and emboldened them.
This Hamas “news” following the Carter “news” is shocking only to moral relativists and reality deniers… and to the likes of your you’ve got to be kidding party and others in the tea and bun set. So don’t be surprised if nobody else is surprised.
Hey: maybe you should replicate Carter’s move (only in an ass-backward way) and negotiate over to FoxNews.com and read their story on it? Nah. I knew it. You don’t have the bollocks even to be educated by people who aren’t totally blinkered, love America, and make sense. OK, OK—go to CNN. Or Yahoo.com. Unfortunately your state-owned CBC division is still headlining their story as “Hamas ready to accept Israel as its neighbour: Carter”, so clearly they’re as ignorant and misinforming as you all are).
In the meantime, terrorists all over the globe have text-messaged (using western technology, of course) and smoke-signaled the proof that Carter is supplying to them: that important people in the west are once again recognizing the legitimacy of their ever so heroic efforts and their savage terrorism and jihadist martyrdom and Islamofascism. We’re winning, so let’s redouble our efforts! Allah Akbar!
Convinced you haven’t read this because it’s a conservative web site,

UPDATE:
CBC.ca changed story completely, yet “Last Updated” line remains same.
These two stories are at the exact same URL: http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2008/04/21/carter-hamas.html
Totally revised story—same “Last Updated” time
The original story trumpeted Carter’s delusional news and was headlined “Hamas ready to accept Israel as its neighbour”. It began: “Former U.S. president Jimmy Carter said Monday that Hamas is prepared to accept the right of Israel to “live as a neighbour next door in peace.”
The new story—a completely re-written one at the exact same URL—begins: “Hamas will accept the establishment of a Palestinian state on land captured by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war, the exiled leader of the Palestinian militant group said Monday.”
(A) If that’s not an article update, I don’t know what is.
(B) Hamas is prepared to accept a Palestinian state? Oh my. What a breakthrough.
UPDATE 2
D’oh!
Carter legitimizes Fox News Channel enemy by being interviewed by them!
He was interviewed on E.D. Hill’s excellent show with correspondent Reena Ninan in Jerusalem. I’m watching it now. (Don’t worry, CBC will never, ever show the Fox News clip. There are some boundaries they will never cross!).
SIDEBAR: Layton and all liberals and leftists in Canada continue to deny Fox News’ right to exist!
… Carter told Miss Ninan that he won’t meet with al-Qaeda. He’s a weird fella.
… Miss Ninan confirms that Hamas held a press conference in which they denied pretty much everything Carter claimed in his news conference to have succeeded in doing over there.
Now that this is finally over with, I imagine it will be back to Hamas’ indiscriminate bombing of Israel with rocket attacks on innocent Israelis.
