How stupid does the media (CNN no less) have to be….

…before they believe—and/or see fit to publish—the results of a survey called the “Canadian CampusKiss & Tell Survey”, commissioned by an unknown college internet dating site? 

But you know, liberals are all about the sex.  The orgasm.  So much of their policy and initiatives and news revolve around the orgasm.  So when sex is in the news, it’s hard news, baby.

Survey: Canadian students log in, get turned on

TORONTO, Ontario (Reuters)—Call it a sexual revolution of the virtual kind—young Canadians are practicing a new style of safe sex and the only touching required involves a keyboard.

Of more than 2,500 university and college students polled across Canada, 87 percent of them are having sex over instant messenger, Webcams or the telephone, according to results of a national survey released on Monday.

“We were very surprised,” Noah Gurza, a founder of Toronto-based CampusKiss.com, an online dating community for students, which commissioned the first annual Canadian CampusKiss & Tell Survey.

Good on ya, media.  Please do a follow-up after your latest Cheney the mad and yet secretive gunman follow-up story for the 97th time. 

The media have no compunction when it comes to editorializing about things that President Bush says or does, and inserting all manner of innuendo and “scary-quotes” when they’re reporting on the Iraq War which is a “quagmire” dontchaknow or on what the state-run CBC calls “the so-called war on terror”.  But when a totally unknown online dating web site from Canada does a survey that might involve salacious sex and depravity among our up-and-comers, they’re duty is suddenly to simply to report the facts as they get them, with nary a “so-called” anything.
