Buzz (I’ll support your party only if you have a good chance of winning) Hargrove is a little upset that the Provincial NDP’ers took away his membership card. Do you blame them? After all,, Buzz dropped more bombshells during the last election than the Americans did in Afghanistan in their quest for Osama Bin Laden.
Just to refresh everyone’s memories, our Buzz pulled this coup when he said “…there should be a strong NDP opposition, but urged members to vote Liberal in ridings in which the NDP has no chance of winning….” while saying this out of the other side of his mouth – “…support(ing) incumbent NDP members who have a clear chance of winning their ridings, which he estimates at over 20….”
Oh, and he gave Paul Martin a big hug and a nifty union jacket to boot. (I wonder if Mr. Dithers kept it or put it up for auction onEBAY.)
With this ringing endorsement to the Liberals, Buzz was picturing himself as possible a new Senator or in some other cushy position if the Liberals were to win. He would be set for life.
That cushy position was put out of reach when Buzz opined (subscription only)(just days before the election and in front of Mr. Dithers,no less) to Quebec voters that Stephen Harper was a separtist and how “he believes Quebeckers should vote for the separatist Bloc QuÃ
