I’m a little late in bringing this up, because believe it or not I missed it. Thanks to Jean who jostled me out of my stupor.
The liberals’ Globe and Mail has once again amazed the nation, and has abandoned leaky ship BS Liberal, in favor of the stellar aircraft carrier Harper Conservative.
…On balance, Mr. Harper remains the best man for the job in the tough times now upon us. … By all logic, he should be cruising to an easy majority.

His vision, determination and adroitness restored political competition to Canada, not an insignificant accomplishment.

… But we have entered an unprecedented period of market breakdown and Canadians need their government to be attentive and responsive. Mr. Harper possesses the competence and flexibility to pull this off …
It is so tempered in its endorsement it actually comes off as more of a backhanded endorsement and a lecture from Harper’s mom or grade-school teacher or something. But liberals have difficulty with the straight talk, and stooping down to our level, as we know.
