When even the far-left secular “progressives” who read their far-left Toronto Star vote for God, then you know you’ve hit a nerve. This “nerve” is also known as “Canada” and its foundational values, as expressed not just in the opening line of our Constitution’s Charter of Rights (to wit: “Whereas Canada is founded upon the principles that recognize the supremacy of God…”), but in our national anthem, our nation’s motto, and all over our lives and the very character of our nation, its laws, its appeal internationally, and its very core.

Girl Guides of Canada is considering dropping any reference to God from their ‘guiding promise.’ Do you think this is a good idea?
Yes 1592—36%
No 2643 — 59%
Don’t know 176 — 3%
For my part, I won’t even remotely think about buying those Girl Guide cookies ever again if they become political by appeasing the far-left secular progressive loons and the now very tiresome and way past their best-before-date political-correctness nutbars, and drop God from their pledge.
The ever so offensive line to the left-wing secular-progressives includes these awful words: “To be true to myself, my God and Canada.”
I strongly suggest you continue to be true to yourselves, God, and Canada.
