Free info dissemination - r - us

I get notes like this first one fairly regularly and I’m glad to be of help, but (and call me crazy) whenever I get them I kind of look behind me—over my shoulder—sometimes I check to see if there’s a big note stuck on my back that says “Kick Me”.  I’m just surprised these people talk to me at all after the grilling I give them.

But in the spirit of cooperation and with the hope that (correct, fair, and balanced) information will ensue, here’s the latest note:

SUBJECT:  1995 REFERENDUM rally

I am a reporter with The Canadian Press and am doing a story on the 10th
anniversary of the federalist rally in Montreal on Oct. 27, 1995.

I am looking to speak to Canadians who came to the rally.

My number is 514-985-7213.

Thank you.

So if you were there or know anyone who was, phone him (then of course let us in on what you said…)

I also got a couple from Garth Turner, Conservative MP from Ontario.  These ones don’t really surprise me since they’re at least on my side, and me on theirs usually.  But they don’t send a private jet out to pick me up, or even make a contribution using our Support Us page (apparently I’m supposed to support them, but not the other way around—I must work for free, unlike them!):

So just for that, I indicated with a big

the spelling errors I caught in their emails.  That’ll learn ’em.
