The liberals’ media is so liberal, they don’t even have a clue how liberal they are anymore. They just think they’re normal.
They are covering Hillary Clinton’s loss with wall-to-wall coverage wrought with emotion—the likes of which I reserve for, well, nothing, actually.
The distinction between their coverage of the left’s Obama and Hillary Clinton, and the Republican Party’s nomination of John McCain (and the runners up Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney—remember them? No? Perfect then!) would be hilarious if it weren’t so journalistically troubling to me (if only the CBC’s “Fifth Estate” could capture the juxtaposition from their state media’s video archives for a three-part series!).
Over the emotionally hysterical banner reading “THE DREAM IS OVER”, the CBC Newsworld covers it non-stop. Interviews, analysis, Henry Champ in Washington with full reports, on and on and on…
But this took the cake for me today:
Nancy Wilson, CBC Newsworld anchor: “Help me understand the kind of emotional journey that Clinton supporters are making right now, I mean for you how difficult was it for you to acknowledge, OK, Clinton is not going to win this thing, and and and then the kind of thinking that is necessary to say OK, I’m I’m unhappy, I’m disappointed, but I now have to summon up the energy and the loyalty to work for Obama?
Elaine Karmarck, Democratic Party superdelegate: Well it started for me probably a little bit earlier than it started for some people….
It started at different times for different people. It’s wonderous. Let’s chat some more.
Actually, there seems to be no end date. No exit strategy. But I demand the troops be “redeployed”. Immediate withdrawal.
So starting Monday, no excuse to cover ONLY Obama and Clinton. It should be 50-50, and fair and balanced. I’ll be right here waiting for that.
