Father’s Day coming up! What better time to interview two gay fathers?

Sunday is Father’s Day.  So Canada’s extreme leftist state-run media, the CBC (“Newsworld” state news channel division), chose the occasion to promote what else?  Homosexuality and gay marriage to Canadians.  That’s the most important aspect of all formerly “family” days, now, such that “family” continue to be re-defined by liberals in their image, rather than that other idiot’s.

Forget normal traditional Canadian families—this is post-modern Canada.  This is Planet Liberal-Leftist.  This is the taxpayer-funded CBC.  Suck it up, non-liberals.

The state-employed CBC “news” (—wink!) anchor, Sarika Sehgal, who is simply a female version of George Stroumboulopoulos and who like Stroumboulopoulos would be better suited hosting anything on MuchMusic in a country other than mine, interviewed a gay male couple today, who are ‘married’, and have adopted two children.  They informed us that they always wanted children—right from their very first date together.

They then informed us that they decided that in order to achieve that goal of having children and a family, “it turned out that adoption was the right way for us to uh, to uh, to uh, proceed, so.”

No, Sehgal didn’t even feign curiosity about what their other reproductive options might be, and apparently, miraculously, she forgot all about that whole penis/vagina thing that all the parents and kids are always on about and have been since the beginning of time, and which the CBC is normally so fond of discussing (and waxing) on TV and at their state-run web site.

Then she asked:  “And did you ever I mean was it ever a thought that you know does a child NEED a mom and dad—is that important?”

Shockingly, after that hardball question, an adamant “No” was the answer from dad number one and the other dad who is dad number two I’m guessing, as long as they don’t add a third dad down the road.  They went on at length about how normal they were, and in fact, they report, they joke about the fact they are more “normal”, than most “quote unquote normal” couples.  They all giggled heartily.  (Oh stop please stop my belly she aches with all the funny.)

Her response? Sehgal happily agreed, “No, you guys are just the perfect family life!”

Perfect. Family. Life.

She giggled throughout and said “yeah” after everything they said, and at the end, she wished the two dads a “happy Father’s Day you guys”.  Then it was onto the next story.
