I’ve noticed that nearly every other blog out there, no matter how small or large, well-known or not, gets tons of comments for each blog entry.
I recently dropped the requirement that you be registered and logged-in to make comments, to make it easier. A couple of new people have since commented regularly.
I’m going to ask that people either support me and this enterprise by participating in some way, or else I’m going to drop the ability to make comments altogether, in what will likely turn out to be a first step to quitting entirely out of frustration.
I’m literally getting embarrassed, here.
I don’t mind telling you I’m beginning to feel like a total loser, getting no support even from people who I think are on the same side as me. The importance I place on seeing comments isn’t that it makes me feel warm and fuzzy, although it does, it’s that it shows there is some popular support for what is being presented here. Right now it looks like there is literally none.
Maybe nobody is on my side. I really have no other conclusion to draw from this.
Thanks.
