As if on cue, following on the heels of my earlier post about the CTV and CBC masquerading a far-leftist polemicist as just another good old plain objective expert on the war in Afghanistan, just now, the liberals’ CTV Newsworld anchor Dan Matheson, during their ongoing Conrad Black guilty verdict celebration, warned us that their next expert will be David Frum: “a small-c conservative commentator and writer”.
So be warned, viewers! Take everything he says with a haYUGE grain of salt!
But heed the wisdom of that plain old objective Steven Staples.
EXTRA:
Matheson later declared that we the viewers were on “tender hooks” awaiting the verdict. “Tender hooks”. What are “tender hooks”? Of course as those of us in the smart set know, the expression he was looking for was “tenterhooks”.
Since people keep accusing me of making things up, here’s a 5-second MP3 audio clip of the egregious “tender hooks” error of the century which was of course surpassed in its egregiousness only by Conrad Black’s trial of the freaking millennium, in which, didjahear, he was found guilty on some counts.
