Like I said: the country WANTS private health care

In my prescient column this week, called “How to spot a lying liberal”, which I’m sure all of you have already read since it’s already been sitting there for a day, I alluded to the fact that not only are Canadians open to private market forces in their insane health care system, they WANT it, because it would FIX it.

Well OK, that wasn’t prescient as much as it was based on a previous survey.  I simply exposed it.  But today a new survey in the National Post confirms those previous figures and makes me look like a demigod.  What’s that?  You already thought I was a demigod?

Imagine how many Canadians would want private enterprise in our decrepit, ridiculous, Stalinist North Korean-style health care system if the media and academia were half sensible and helped expose the benefits instead of kowtowing like fools to the liberal-left.  Someday liberals will be embarrassed to death, simply as a result of the fact there will be a 38-month waiting list for treatment of liberal embarrassment.

More than half of Canadians believe they should be allowed to pay for private health care, as long as there is also free care available for all who need it, a new poll finds.

In the new Leger Marketing poll, the national average was 52% in favour of allowing “those who wish to pay for health care in the private sector to have speedier access to this type of care while still maintaining the current free and universal health care system.” Forty-two per cent were opposed, and 5% had no opinion.

Interestingly, even half of LIBERALS believe in private enterprise in the healthcare system.  Still, though, the other half are socialist, exactly like the NDP, and prefer to maintain our North Korean-style healthcare system.  The Liberal government is siding with the socialists as we know, against the will of the people.  Perhaps they’re protecting “minority rights”.
