CBC “Top Stories”: their news editor is leaving; and something about Palestinian situation

It’s a “Top Story” in Canada!  At least it is to the self-important “news” reporters at the state-run CBC. 

Tony Burman to step down as CBC’s chief journalist

Tony Burman, editor in chief of CBC’s English-language news, current affairs and Newsworld divisions, announced Tuesday that he is leaving after nearly 35 years with the public broadcaster.

[… and on and on and on at length…]

Wow! 

(And… “Public broadcaster”, huh?  No.  State-run media. )
