Rear-Admiral Tyrone Pile says the death of Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan hasn’t deterred people from joining the military.
45 Canadian soldiers have died in Afghanistan since 2002.

The fact that that article was found by me on a little Ottawa radio station web site’s news section, and in nearly no other media, at least not cast as anything even remotely important (find it buried in the Globe and Mail’s “OTHER” news section, for example), because, I suspect, it doesn’t fit with their agenda.
