Here’s my Friday evening media rant:
Canada once again shows all the love for the liberals’ BILLION-DOLLAR-PER-YEAR state-run media, by way of shunning it absolutely and simply not watching it, yet again in our weekly (or so) review.
Instead, Canadians chose an entire slate of private enterprise networks—and American shows (all but two shows are American).
Maybe the liberal-left would prefer we spent an extra couple of billion dollars per year creating more liberal propaganda on state-run media. Maybe that would improve the ratings. No—just kidding! But I don’t doubt they would do it if they could get away with it. Hey—they can! They can get away with massive corruption the likes of which this country has never known in its history! They can get away with anything! So let’s stand by for those new government programs on the state-run media.
Seriously, though, the liberals and their liberal arts professors in the universities must be banging their heads trying to imagine why, when they force by law all cable carriers to provide the CBC to every customer, nobody watches it. Maybe people don’t like it. No that couldn’t be it! Maybe they need to hire some more “working families” (TM Jack Layton) to help pump out the propaganda.
Once again the two Canadian shows that made it into the top-20 were Corner Gas (I highly recommend it) and the CTV evening news (watch Fox News Channel instead).

By the way, when the average American tuned in to watch their President speak to the nation last night in a special news conference, they chose—by free will—to watch it on Fox News Channel—as I did. Thanks goodness we can get Fox News Channel in Canada now that it has been unbanned by the liberal elites through their state censor, the CRTC division of the Liberal Party, after they were embarrassed into admitting they were banning it and released the ban under tremendous pressure from sensible people.
