Hi Joel,
Thought this might interest you. An article on Toronto Sun online. Nary a mention of party.

You never see a D in the American media when a politician gets caught in a shady deal This is the first time I have seen this behavior in the Toronto Sun.

“MP told he should pay back $13Gs”. Apparently the Toronto Sun’s typewriter ran out of typewriter ribbon and they couldn’t eek out the words LIBERAL PARTY in their story about a LIBERAL PARTY MP.
It’s odd because they always have enough ink to pump out “Conservative Party” (which is of course even more letters) when things go awry in their camp (you know, like when Stephen Harper gains weight, or the party is officially deemed by the media to be “petulant” or “out of ideas” or other such news stories of extreme importance which must be brought to our attention).
Or, possibly, Ken Brown, of Sun Media (oh… should I have mentioned the author and his affiliation? Let me check. Yup. It’s totally germane to the story), chose to not mention the party affiliation in the entire story. The LIBERAL PARTY affiliation.
Let’s triangulate this: The liberal media is not biased in favor of the liberal-left, and are “fair and balanced”. They aren’t in bed with the liberal-left in this country, and never do their bidding, never omit relevant facts favoring the liberal-left. So you see it must be that the Toronto Sun ran out of typewriter ribbon.
Please send donations to the Toronto Sun so they can buy some new typewriter ribbon.
