Extend the good will: How about paying a fine every time something totally stupid or socialist is said at left-wing festivals like “Live Earth” and Liberal Party conventions? How about an asshat banner tax for those ingenious left-wing posters and banners that offend my sensibilities and are horrible for our kids?
Forget “carbon taxes”. You wanna raise tax revenues for more social programs? How about an asshat tax?
Stewart promises clean language at concert
Rocker Rod Stewart was so unhappy at the colourful language used at Saturday’s Live Earth concerts – he pledged to cut out swearing at a recent gig.
Comedian Chris Rock’s foul-mouthed appearance at Live Earth London prompted TV host Jonathan Ross to apologise to viewers.
And when Stewart played at Rioch Arena in Coventry on Tuesday, he promised to pay GBP10 to each member of the crowd if he swore.
He says, “I listened to people effing and blinding during the Live Earth Concert last weekend and it just sounded so cheap.
“If you hear me swear on stage I’ll give you all a tenner.”
Let’s not forget the genius Madonna’s Live Earth concert quote, which I filled you in on earlier this week:
“If you wanna save the planet let me see you jumpin’ up and down!!!!
Come on you mother fu**ers!!! ”
Madonna is a genius. And a potential tax cow.
