Another somewhat self-serving feel-good blog post, just for my ego (obviously I’ve taken the time to check my referrer logs this afternoon—finally):
Adam Daifallah, a member of the editorial board at the National Post, mentioned in his own personal blog a post I wrote a few days ago (actually I’ve found that post has been quoted a couple times around the blogosphere).
He described it as “Great fisking of one of the stories linked above here. Par for the course for the Canadian media.”
(Fisk:
verb. To deconstruct an article on a point by point basis in a highly critical manner. Derived from the name of journalist Robert Fisk, a frequent target of such critical articles in the blogosphere (qv).
Usage: “Orrin Judd did a severe fisking of an idiotic article in the New York Times today…”)
Shucks.
But I love it when I’m reminded that I’m not alone in this Land o’ Liberal-Lefties.
