As the semi-business, semi-vacation vacation continues…..
Last night we had a great dinner and wine followed by a great Spanish Coffee. Here’s a picture taken during our walk home. Yes, the BC legislature really is lit up that way every night. It’s quite a sight. Just about every tourist says it looks like Christmas, but of course the liberals here all say it looks like “happy secular multicultural festivus of tolerant delight”, or something.
My wife is standing under the lamp post but you can’t see her very well because I took the picture with no flash.
This next one was taken as we passed the famous Empress Hotel. These horse-drawn carriages are everywhere. The picture was taken with no flash again, and captured the speed this one was traveling at—it was getting chilly and the chariot riders probably told the driver (?) to step on it!
