Take Roseanne Barr.
First she said she “hated liberals” on Bill O’Reilly’s O’Reilly Factor, just now on Fox News Channel. “Just like you, Bill!”
The all-too-good-natured in these circumstances Bill, who has way too many socialists on his show, replied that he didn’t “hate liberals” at all whatsoever. Then she sheepishly back-peddled and said she didn’t hate liberals either. But then she said she was a socialist, and not a liberal. Bill did not say that he was too.
And then she had to leave because the CBC was on the horn, wanting to hire her as a member of their 2011 political analyst team. Hugo Chavez raced to demand President Obama make her the new U.S. Ambassador to Venezuela. Or so I imagined to myself.
