Sunday Newsquips

image1.    About sixty peaceful protestors gather outside the Conservative Convention... is the unwittingly risible caption beneath this picture at liberalvision CTV.ca today (cropped by me to zero-in on the haYUGE wide-open yelly-mouths of a couple of the “peacefuls” as they yelled and banged bongo drums like fanatical loons to protest and shout down and browbeat the Conservative Party and their meeting generally).

2.  Pro-life is “extreme” to the liberalvision “news” elites like the “reporter” Craig Oliver.  In an interview with the CTV News anchor yesterday concerning the “controversial” Conservative convention, he advised Canadians that the “extreme” elements of the party—those who favor life, for example—were hammered down by the normal folk there at the convention.  Here’s what the reporter Craig Oliver had to report:  “…No doubt the party didn’t want reporters hearing whatever extreme social conservatives may be left, debating abortion, capital punishment, gay rights, who knows what…”.  Just so we’re clear now:  Being pro-life, or even talking about it, is an “EXTREME” position, whereas abortion is itself a MODERATE procedure. image  … Yes this is the new middle, moderate, progressive ground:  Purposely killing a perfectly pure, innocent unborn human by the use of chemicals and/or crushing its skull and then removing it from the womb with a vacuum pump and forceps and then throwing it in the garbage:  that’s “moderate” to liberals and leftists like Craig Oliver and CTV “News”.  But wanting to even talk about protecting innocent life and allowing babies to take their natural path to normal natural adulthood is: “extreme”.  …  As of this minute, roughly 87,000 babies have been “moderated” in Canada this calendar year.  But again don’t worry:  that’s all “moderate”.  See?  Oh good.  You’ve been indoctrinated by liberalvision, then.

3.  At the liberalvision CTV web site, one Conservative convention “news” video clip is described this way:  “CTV National News: Jill Macyshon on the controversial convention”.  Controversial? image  Here’s a tip for you who are now finally immune (as liberals shout Eureka!) to the liberal-left bullcrap that passes for “journalism” in Canada and much of America today:  Only conservative policies and platforms and ideas are ever called “controversial”.  Liberal and further leftists simply debate thing like “ideas” and “progressing the nation” and “hope” and “change” and “nuance” and engage in “healthy debate”.  When discussed by liberals and leftists, abortion (re-named “choice” and “reproductive rights”, etc) isn’t “controversial”, it’s “progressive”, for example.  The conservative-only word, “controversial”, is meant to imply “hey, folks, this stuff ain’t liberal, so watch these right-wing neo-con nutjobs”, and is of course only “controversial” insofar as the fact that the media HATES what is being said there and are freaked-out that these policies may be heard by or adopted by Canadians.  … Hope that helps!

4.  … By the way, the “controversial” and oh-so “extreme” proposal, which was to do what most civilized humans do and press for additional criminal charges against killers who kill or injure a “fetus” while killing or trying to kill the pregnant (by choice) mother (who “chose life” for her baby), passed.  … The motion was passed by the “extremist”, um, albeit majority,  of Conservatives —or by those whom Craig Oliver of CTV reported were “whatever extreme social conservatives may be left”, um, extremist set. (It’s not my writing style or sentence structure that’s hard to understand—it’s liberals).  So, you know, how radical they are, that majority/extremist cabal!  … Hey maybe to moderate their stance they should vote on these things, then assemble in groups and yell and scream like hyenas and bang bongo drums and cymbals and hold protest rallies in front of CTV News and shout down Craig Oliver and CTV News and behave like irrational nutbars and demand that those “fetus” killers get awarded the Order of Canada by the liberal-left.  That would be more moderate, if I understand correctly.

image  5.   According to information from the Conservative Party over this convention weekend, the party raised $14.8 million in direct cash donations during just the first nine months of this year, compared with just $3.6 million for the Liberals, who are moderate and normal and loved by all Canadians.  Loved by all including the sugar daddies, who, while it is not discussed openly, get tens of millions of dollars worth of “in-kind” support from the media (a large hunk of it—the CBC—being state-owned and funded); and from the totally state-funded Canadian academic industrial complex (I love putting it that way!); and from the (fully taxpayer subsidized) “arts” and “entertainment” industrial complex; and from many other sources.  … But here’s a thought:  the Conservative Party has more than enough cash.  Send your cash to us at PTBC instead for a few years.  We’re an actual conservative voice, and I’ll happily take some infinitesimal personal credit for so many of those “extreme” positions—like life—remaining (and I use the word REMAINING advisedly) mainstream enough to discuss at conventions. Soon it may not be mainstream enough to even discuss it, as the Liberal Fascism fully grips Canada.  Hi Craig Oliver.
