So I went looking for the good news from Iraq…

…and of course it’s nigh impossible to find on the liberal mainstream media.  But as long as there’s no agenda or anything…

(Hey didja know they caught Saddam?  Yes!  And they’ve had two very well-attended free elections there for the first time in many decades!  And they wrote-up a new constitution and created a government!  And they’re opening new schools and hospitals and libraries and markets and more!  Half the folks now have cell phones and people are going online!  There’s newspapers and TV and radio stations broadcasting freely!  And Saddam is dead so is his brothers and henchmen who can now no longer murder, rape, torture, and dismember any more than the countless hundreds of thousands of innocents already subjected to their savagery!  All of this in a few short years!  Therefore, it’s going extremely TERRIBLY there!  It’s a flippin’ “quagmire”!  Exit strategy!  Surrender!)

Anywho, here’s a couple of pictures I absconded from a blog called simply “Iraq Pictures”.

The picture is described as such:

SGT James Norton HHC 1/34th Brigade Combat Team from Stillwater, Minn. Shakes hands with an Iraqi student on his way home from class. Iraqi children are fascinated with U.S. service members and take every opportunity to interact with them.

The picture is described:

Ali Bunni, Qada Council’s Deputy Chairman in north Baghdad, officially opens a new girls’ high school earlier this week with a ribbon cutting.

I don’t remember reading about that school opening in the media.  Maybe they were covering something more important.

Compare those pictures and stories to this more-or-less mainstream liberal media photo source featuring al-Reuters and al-Associated Press photos which I also checked this morning:
