On vacation and doing a reno. The reno is NOT exactly a “Quick Take.”

I’ve been on vacation and doing a kitchen renovation at our house, and that explains the lack of new posts recently. The reno is supposedly going to end at some point. Home Depot hopes it never ends. Also, buy Home Depot shares. Also buy shares in Lowe’s. Also anybody who makes tools. And Band-Aids.

Here is what has consumed the most time so far: it’s the dreaded plumbing. Double sink goes in the left cabinet, but it drains way over there on the right. Fun plumbing jigsaw puzzle! Also, fun jigsaw cuts into the cabinet to make it all fit, and fun drilling too. And then there’s the electrical for the in-cabinet lighting…
