The You’ve Got To Be Kidding Show on CPAC today: One extremely angry member of the you’ve got to be kidding party stood up at The People’s Microphone Two and called BC Liberal Premier Gordon Campbell “right wing!”.
That’s Gordon Campbell, liberal, who supports right-wing stuff like unlimited taxpayer-funded abortions for any reason or no reason at all whatsoever at any time in any pregnancy in taxpayer-funded public hospitals; and strongly supports gay marriage; and who with two clear mandates has chosen to nonetheless maintain BC’s Soviet-style state-owned and operated liquor distribution and retail outlets in direct competition with its own citizens; to maintain BC’s NDP-created socialist car insurance system (with optional towing package!) and its retail outlets in direct competition with its own citizens; supports the leftists’ Canada Health Act; maintains a state-owned ferry service with more ships than the Canadian Navy; and who recently signed a contract with a gay couple to force gay education including gay sex education on BC’s school children from kindergarten through grade twelve; and more right-wing stuff like that.
Only a party of fringe far left socialists or Marxists could see a man like that as “right wing”.
Meanwhile, Jack’s proletariats voted to IMMEDIATELY withdraw our troops from Afghanistan. Uh huh! ”NDP delegates vote strongly against Afghan mission”—by 90 percent!
Sustained applause swept over the convention floor after the vote results were announced.
“We have a really strong show of support from our members here today,” Layton told reporters following the vote.
“Now we’re calling on Canadians to join with us in calling on the Harper government to change the track he’s currently on with George Bush.”
Nope! Won’t join ya, General Jack!
