Yesterday I blogged (positively!) about our Chief of Defence Staff General Rick Hillier, and even gave him the Quote of the Week Award for saying these un-Canadian words at great risk of peril from above (“above” in liberal parlance is the Liberal Party elite who know EVERYthing): “We need to take a stand,” he said. “We” meaning Canada.
Imagine that.
Today however I found some more words he said, which make me wonder WHICH quote really deserves the Quote of the Week Award. Get a load of the moxie from this good Canadian:
“We are the Canadian Forces, and our job is to be able to kill people.”
Words spoken by a real live Canadian! (And no—it wasn’t Henri Morgentaler or any of his liberal worshippers at a plenary session!)
