Liberals’ hideously deceitful “Belinda Tour ‘05” should be a lesson

image The Liberals sending egomaniac Belinda Stronach around the country to “find out what the youth are thinking”—or whatever, at a cost of one MILLION taxpayer dollars—is a lesson for us all.  It teaches us (or it attempts to—liberal Canadians are tough to teach) that the liberal-left will stop at absolutely nothing to retain power.  Not even the revelation of the biggest scandal in the history of our nation in which it was discovered that they used our money to prop up their own party fortunes.  They still—even while a national awaits the report from an official national commission of inquiry into their wrongdoing— have no compunction whatever about spending our own money to ensure they—the liberal-left—win the next election(s).

The other reason for Belinda’s dog and pony show is to furnish Liberal talking points for Paul Martin’s chatter about the “democratic deficit,” in case the party needs it for media fodder in the next election. […]
