Another good column by Paul Jackson with whom I nearly always agree—or is it the other way around?—and this time it’s about…..drum roll…… a liberal. Can you believe it?

Pause and think back over the year and try to find one single item, incident or issue for which Martin might deserve a round of applause.
Unless you’re a fawning Liberal hoping for some patronage post or contract—and as we have seen there are plenty of those going around—you won’t find one.
[…] Martin spins around the world making rash promises as to how Canada is going to battle poverty and shore up education, make the world safe from brigands, and build a new world order, yet he knows his government has neither the physical resources nor the financial resources to do anything at all.
Don’t forget, he’s the man who slashed our military budget by 25%—just as world terrorism was raising its head—and also slashed the military’s manpower by one-quarter.
Hardly prescient.
[…] His much-professed Roman Catholicism is a fraud, too, as Calgary Bishop Fred Henry has pointed out—and almost paid the price for it. This is a man who piously goes to church on a Sunday, and then does what he wants the rest of the week.
In his avowed quest to destroy traditional marriage in our country and to decriminalize the use of marijuana, he is undermining so much of the fabric that holds our society together.
We don’t even get an intelligent, thoughtful explanation as to why he is taking these courses towards the destruction of our nation.
Likely, he hasn’t got an answer.
