The liberals’ Globe and Main division breathlessly repeats any Liberal Party accusation against any Conservative, every time, without even a thought as to their reputation.
Today they print, in “Canada’s national newspaper” (they can only wish to be the national state-run newspaper), using one of their most seasoned, star reporters, another hysterical non-story, based on what I can only see by the evidence is a an outright lie, proof of which even the Globe and Mail provides.
And yet they go with the alarmist story as if it still might be true if only they squeeze their collective liberal media butt cheeks together hard enough, in unison.

From Thursday’s Globe and MailOTTAWA — The Liberals accused the Conservatives yesterday of preparing an election for this fall, before they have chosen a new leader—although Canada’s chief electoral officer says his October plans are part of his normal preparations and are not based on any indication from the government.
Liberal House Leader Ralph Goodale said yesterday he has heard from local returning officers that they have been told to be ready for an election in October.
He said that suggests Mr. Harper wants an opening to “contrive a set of circumstances” for a fall election, even though the Conservatives have proposed fixed election dates for every four years.
“If Mr. Harper, in fact, tries that trick, we will know that his proposal on fixed election dates is as bogus as a three-dollar bill.’‘
Mr. Goodale said that Elections Canada sets elections planning on the advice of the government. “I think you’ll find that Mr. Harper has found a way to send the message: ‘Get ready, I don’t want any administrative reason to stand in my way for an election in October,’ ” he said.
Not so, Chief Electoral Officer Jean-Pierre Kingsley said.
“I get as much notice from the Conservatives as I got from the Liberals,” he said. “None whatsoever.”
… and then the “news” article actually goes on, no, it doesn’t stop here, it goes on, and no apology is asked of the Liberal butt cheek … and they choose, on purpose, to headline the article “October election? Be prepared”.
