How to push inane Liberals back:
A piece of Conservative government legislation before the House was gutted by Liberals in committee. This happens all the time because Liberals hate when Conservatives are spot-on. Canada be damned, there’s an election to win, vote Liberal, we’re “progressive”, George Bush is a neo-con, trans fats. .
For those of you who haven’t been paying attention, “in committee” is where all Liberals are happiest. Like pigs in poo. Show me a committee, I’ll show you a Liberal (and a box of Nuffy’s donuts, lots of doodle pads, busy-body state-employed secretaries with piercings, some French cheese, a CBC reporter, and tea and coffee and bottled water—and possibly some Kool-Aid—aplenty).
But this kind of arrogant, elitist, self-important comment from Liberals who think of themselves and actually publicly define themselves as “Canada’s Natural Governing Party” exemplifies why committees and Liberals are a bad mix:
“It is inexcusable that the Conservatives would kill their own legislation because they don’t like some of the amendments passed during the committee process.”
“Inexcusable”? Of course that’s preposterous. Of course it’s excusable. It’s not just excusable, it’s commendable.
There. I’ve already excused them. See?
