Liberal moonbats in U.S. attempt censorship of Fox News Channel

I wonder if we could get the state-run media in Canada off the air this way!

The privately-owned cable news channel Fox News Channel (number one in cable news channel viewership in the U.S. by a landslide) allows conservative voices and ideas to be expressed in addition to the usual liberal-left-only blather which we hear (and is all we hear) all day long in all the rest of the TV media, much of the radio media, nearly all mainstream newspapers, Hollywood films, and virtually all of academia.  Liberals claim that makes FNC “biased”.  Therefore it must be shut down, you see.

For liberals—both in the U.S. and here—when you allow for conservatives to say things, it’s “biased”.  It’s only “fair” when conservatives’ mouths are taped shut.  That’s because liberals can’t possibly win debates in the forum of ideas when conservatives are allowed to say things.  At least they seem to be tacitly admitting it now.

More far-left George Soros-funded groups are seeking to silence Fox News Channel.  Canadians might have heard of George Soros and his far-left MoveOn.org site:  Soros is one of the folks who fund the organization that flooded Ontario and B.C. schools with the Al Gore freak-out movie about global warming called “An Inconvenient Truth”, for free, so that all the kids could be indoctrinated (to much glee from the church of liberalism clerics posing as teachers teaching your kids); and MoveOn.org is one of the stated inspirations behind the man, Steven Staples, who CBC and CTV masquerade as just another totally objective foreign affairs “analysts” or “experts” in news interviews.

Liberals Going After Fox Advertisers

NEW YORK (AP) – Liberal activists are stepping up their campaign against Fox News Channel by pressuring advertisers not to patronize the network.

MoveOn.org, the Campaign for America’s Future and liberal blogs like DailyKos.com are asking thousands of supporters to monitor who is advertising on the network. Once a database is gathered, an organized phone-calling campaign will begin, said Jim Gilliam, vice president of media strategy for Brave New Films, a company that has made anti-Fox videos.

The groups have successfully pressured Democratic presidential candidates not to appear at any debate sponsored by Fox, and are also trying to get Home Depot Inc. to stop advertising there.

We’re not in the business of censoring media,” [spokesman Jerry] Shields said. “We need to reach our customer base through all mediums available.” …

If this works, then together with their “Fairness Doctrine”, they’ll finally be on their way to getting that “America” they wanted—an America free of dissenting opinions and facts.  Just like Cuba, and North Korea. Then it’s super easy to get that “progressive” liberal-left message across.

Be that way.  Be liberal.  Vote liberal.  It’s so “progressive”.
