Golly gee. Oops. Harper caused their deaths! Oh yeah and also, Terrorists don’t cause terrorism, conservative leaders do! Vote liberal! Sure the Liberals were actually the ones who sent our troops to Afghanistan and “cost 70 lives” (and now want to pretend they didn’t send them as seen in this obedient liberal media regurgitation of liberal talking points here), but whateva !
I also like this important news information a couple of paragraphs later in that news story:
Canadians are divided over support for the country’s 2,500 troops in Afghanistan…
Seems to me if Canadians were 80% in favor and 20% against our mission, they’d still be “divided.”
In actual fact (liberals—tune out quickly—you don’t want to hear this!): support for the mission in Afghanistan is officially 81%. Bet you didn’t know that.
And by the way: the number of Canadian lives and lives of others that have been and will be saved in the future as a result of our noble and worthy military efforts in Afghanistan, and as a result of those in Iraq and other places where these wars need to be fought and won… is so large it’s incalculable. While they always remind us of the war dead, they never remind us of that absolutely inscrutable but completely unimpeachable fact.
