Liberal: denying conservatives free speech is “morally mandated act”

I’m all over the liberals’ incessant drive to shut me and this site down, and their feable and obvious efforts to do whatever they can think of to distract me and all of us; like trying to engage us in tedious time-consuming pedantics just to keep us from realeasing more of our fantastic conservative clear-think across the fantastic country of Canada.

It’s literally driving some liberals to become unhinged.  Just in the past couple of weeks, aside from the usual volume of hate-mail from liberals, most of them demonstrating a level of abuse and rudeness and intolerence and racism and gender-bias and hate that I cannot even repeat it here for legal reasons, I was also publicly accused of being a “porn peddler” (this is pending legal action), and more recently of advocating or “inciting hatred”.

Simply disagreeing isn’t enough for the liberals!  They have to make character assassinations and legally troubling accusations! And why would they feel the need to do this?  Because we’re doing such a fine job here, folks.  Otherwise they simply wouldn’t care.

This is an excellent article found in the Wall Street Journal’s OpinionJournal.com today (it’s always an excellent source of brainpower, like this web site only it’s American—yeah that’s the only difference).

The article is by Daniel Henninger and it is based on Brian C. Anderson’s new book, “South Park Conservatives.”  I haven’t read it yet but I am going to add it to our Reading Right list and then purchase it though our web site thus contributing a few desperately-needed cents (literally) to our site nudge nudge wink wink wink wink beg.

[…] The conservative media ascendancy chronicled by Brian Anderson has driven many liberals nuts. The liberal media-advocacy group FAIR wants a new Fairness Doctrine to repair “broadcast abuse.” Just months ago, FAIR cited “the immense volume of unanswered conservative opinion heard on the airwaves.”

What goes around comes around, I suppose. Conservatives would say they’re now using radio, TV and the Web—all of it free from political control—to give as good as they got from the 1960s onward. For years, they claim, liberal managers in broadcasting, journalism, publishing and academia marginalized them. Were conservatives imagining that?

Maybe not. Mr. Anderson cites left-wing philosopher Herbert Marcuse (who taught at Columbia, Harvard and Brandeis) urging liberals back then to practice active “intolerance against movements from the Right” in the name of “liberating tolerance.” Thus, for example, liberal academics would vote to deny tenure for conservative colleagues—and still do—believing that this is a morally mandated act.
