Martin/Layton jalopy stuck in greedy political power-monger hole

The socialist Jack Layton of the NDP seems to be implying that the corruption and scandal surrounding the Liberal government, as has been revealed in several official ways by now, is absolutely acceptable, and he will continue to support this proven corrupt party, as long as Prime Minister Paul Martin and the Liberals agree to play footsie with him and his socialists, and help him to advance his socialist ideals.

Crass political opportunism, casting aside all remnants of morality and ethics, in order to advance their political ends.  Joining forces to do so.  It’s all entirely scary.  These people are scary.

This Layton/Martin partnership that we saw being formed last spring might just be the scariest thing I’ve ever known in recent Canadian history. 

I found this latest news about the NDP/Liberal collusion by referring to the state-run people’s web site which the liberal-left demands we maintain at taxpayer expense in order to disseminate and inform in their own unique way the people of the nation —of just this kind of news.  Which makes it all the more appalling.

The leader of the New Democrats says he’s asked Martin to consider adopting a number of measures put forward by his party, — such as the ethics reform package, protection for pensions and the environment and a renewed commitment to public health care — before making a decision.

“If [Martin is] willing to take action on a few key issues over the next few weeks, then perhaps we can wait until the election in the winter,” said Layton. “If not, then clearly the parliament serves no positive purpose.” […]
