I understand Katie Couric, who I’ve always said possesses that unique ability to actually make you dumber with each second you listen to her (better than any other liberal), and the replacement for rather biased Dan at the liberals’ CBS (the network which lives up to its acronym), has failed to earn her very liberal $15 MILLION-per-year keep.
That was really hard to predict.
Pretty much immediately after her opening newscast last week her ratings slipped, and she and her network newscast is now in third place among the big three regular old media networks.
She began her opening week asking viewers to help her find an official signature “sign-off” for each night’s newscast because she said she couldn’t think of one. Sort of like an Oprah task for you gals. I came up with ”…And screw you George Bush. Nigh-night!”. But I’m not an Oprah fan so I’m not sure how it works.
But at least she’s a liberal and she’s a woman! Next year they’ll work on getting the story straight—well actually maybe they’ll wait until after the next U.S. election for that.
