It was already dead. But they killed it more. It was one of the worst websites (speaking of its horribly biased, propaganda-like left-wing “news” content) in the nation, and that’s saying a lot. For example, we have the CBC and others to compare it to.
Its latest owner, after being passed around from one lefty owner to another, is Buzzfeed (another doozy in its own right — or rather far left). Just weeks after the Canadian HuffPo staff joined a union, they were told to get stuffed by their (also unionized) Buzzfeed masters. I can’t confirm that’s why they did it. But it is a fun fact.
