George Clooney, liberal, now claims that heck, he’s a conservative! Religious too! Not reported was his whimpering pweeze wuv me!
“We are actually, all of us, conservative, not liberal, whatever … We are reflections of that society. And we’re a product of it.”
Brad Pitt, liberal, who still doesn’t quite get it, tries to sound religious as he explains his upbringing as: “…Baptist and then a more nondenominational charismatic kind of movement.”
In an ABC News “Primetime Live” story on the movie “Ocean’s Twelve”, other Hollywood liberals were sure to point out their religious credentials to the American public now that they know they failed to convert America to liberalism:
Clooney describes his as Kentucky Methodist: “Fire and brimstone.”
Andy Garcia, from Cuba, and Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones were raised Catholic. Don Cheadle is from an African Methodist Episcopal background. Matt Damon, who was raised in Boston, says his family is Protestant.
But in a revealing stubbornness to understand why America voted conservative Republican, including twice as many blacks as last time, when asked why they thought so many actors were Democrats Clooney responded rhetorically:
“Why are so many African-Americans Democrats? I think it has to do with tolerance.”
Nope. Two thumbs down on that answer, Clooney. But nice try. Perhaps you’ve decided that the next Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, and outgoing Secretary of State Colin Powell are merely in some elaborate Hollywood flick.
