What’s this? More news about “man-made global warming” being, well, not so much “man-made”? I always knew it was something that liberal-leftists pulled out of their backsides, but actually I was sort of half right! And it stinks either way!
Here’s another couple of articles scrounged-up by “Monty”, a PTBC liberal-devouring info-beaver.
This first one is from the Scotman.com. (I think they may be trying to be a little sarcastic with the headline, but it turns out to be largely true anyway.)
It’s official: global warming is guff
AT LAST, evidence that global warming is a load of hot air. Cow flatulence has attracted the attention of ministers after emerging as an environmental menace to rival factory chimneys, Chelsea tractors and cheap air travel.
Bovine emissions account for around one million tonnes of methane a year in the UK and now the government wants farmers to change what they feed the animals to cut down greenhouse gases.
[…] Methane has been described by the United Nations as 23 times more “warming” than carbon dioxide. A UN report reveals that: “Livestock are one of the most significant contributors to today’s most serious environmental problems.”

Then this one from The Independent. Yes, I’m considering the possibility that the man-made global warming environut cult religion and multi-billion-dollar-make-work industry is merely trying to turn us all into granola and bean-munching veg-o-matic greenies, but they never will, so I hope they keep trying, thereby wasting loads of their cash and time and effort.
Cow ‘emissions’ more damaging to planet than CO2 from cars
Meet the world’s top destroyer of the environment. It is not the car, or the plane, or even George Bush: it is the cow.
A United Nations report has identified the world’s rapidly growing herds of cattle as the greatest threat to the climate, forests and wildlife. And they are blamed for a host of other environmental crimes, from acid rain to the introduction of alien species, from producing deserts to creating dead zones in the oceans, from poisoning rivers and drinking water to destroying coral reefs.
The 400-page report by the Food and Agricultural Organisation, entitled Livestock’s Long Shadow, also surveys the damage done by sheep, chickens, pigs and goats. But in almost every case, the world’s 1.5 billion cattle are most to blame. Livestock are responsible for 18 per cent of the greenhouse gases that cause global warming, more than cars, planes and all other forms of transport put together.
