Gun registry fails in Winnipeg: shooting spree leaves two dead.

cnews article on shooting Gunfire in Winnipeg?

I demand to know why the liberals’ gun registry did not work.  How could this have happened?

More news quips:

EXTRA LIBERAL SPECIOCITY:
Drudge anti-Putin headline Hey Martha, there’s “racists” in Russia too!

THE EXTRA UNTEACHABLE:

Not a moment after I’d read far-leftist columnist Paul Krugman’s insane article in the liberals’ New York Times this morning, in which he claims the problem, Martha, is that the Obama admin simply didn’t spend enough!, and then reading some of the ridicule it received from many sane sources (I liked “Will someone please shut Krugman up” in the Telegraph.co.uk), I forced myself to read the even more idiotic ramblings at the state-owned, socialism-reliant (and promoting, as you can clearly see here) CBC.  The opinion column (yes Martha, the state-owned media has left-wing political/economic OPINIONS —and nothing BUT left-wing political/economic opinions) is headlined “Save the economy, keep the spending taps open,” and reads like a layman’s guide to left-wing lunacy.

Even some of the normally Marxist CBC readers’ comments refute the idiocy.

And a very good chaser to wash the sour taste out:

And they even provide desert:

And the increasingly excellent Taxpayers Federation offers us a night cap!
With an article at its web site headlined: The Right Way to Sell Booze in New Brunswick

The article begins with a Joel-ish line:  “Is selling booze one of the things the government needs to do?”  Of course the correct answer for those of you playing at home is “NO!”
easy to swallow

After Dinner Mints:
The state-owned, socialism-reliant CBC offers us this example of more “racism” — this time in France.

CTV has late-night snacks!
Martha, I thought all of Canada’s vast numbers of liberals and all those swells in the progressive set all wanted that young lad whom they all claimed was “probably” innocent, Omar Khadr, back home in Canada to serve a sentence as a “human rights” lecturer in the public schools, or something.  I could be wrong.
