Feed that anti-gun machine, media!

Think liberalvision like CTV News Channel is any better than the state-owned, socialism-reliant CBC news media?  Well actually they are, but not by much.  They’re all progressives.  It’s a question of degree.

CTV News Channel anchor Jacqueline Milczarek, to a reporter, just now, with regard to the upcoming gun registry vote:
”…And what about that?  I mean the fact the Conservatives are saying ‘look, even if you know, we don’t win this time, we’re gonna keep pushing ahead’, and there are those as you know Richard, who are saying ‘look this is purely political’;  some are accusing the Conservatives of using this as a wedge issue (her emphasis, but do note it’s a purely political talking point of the Leftard parties) CTV feeds the machineto bolster their support.  Are Conservatives worried about that that the opposition may paint them as being self-interested, not focusing on things Canadians want!”

(Reporter’s answer: yes!)

First of all, I’m not sure how this is keeping the Conservatives from focusing on the things Canadians want.  Seems to me, and the scientific polls that are being conducted all the time, Canadians mostly agree Canada is moving in the right direction.

So the only people who aren’t in tune with what Canadians want, are the opposition.

But let’s review what Canadians want on the subject of the gun registry:  As I’ve mentioned, because the media stubbornly avoid the facts themselves, on the question of the gun registry, Canadians want it scrapped.  (See “New Angus Reid poll: more Canadians want long gun registry SCRAPPED than kept; AND the trend is up.”)  So if you’re really concerned about doing what Canadians “want”, then you should be voting to scrap the registry.

But who am I kidding?  They (the opposition and their media) KNOW they’re wrong on all the issues, and yet they keep repeating this lie about Canadians being in favor of the gun registry, anyway.

So whatever.
