How come the state-owned CBC/National Post News and Advertising Cooperative is reporting, using a haYUGE headline font and one of those massive photo jobs, that the BP oil company CEO spent some time on Father’s Day weekend watching a yacht race with his son (you know, “even while oil gushes out of the leaking oil well…”)…
…while they purposely chose not to report that their man Barack Obama spent yet another afternoon playing golf with VP Joe Biden and other staff in his regime — making it at least the eighth time by my count that Obama has spent time playing golf since the oil leak started (to say nothing of his myriad other social and time-wasting activities)?
Did they think nobody would notice their terrible reporting and not bother to call them on it?
Their article includes this scathing bit of abject hypocrisy and blithe arrogance from the White House — and therefore it’s just as blithe, arrogant, and hypocritical of the CBC/National Post News and Advertising Cooperative, since they also surely know the real facts but are choosing to hide them:

Obama hits golf course with Biden

The White House pool report noted that Obama left at about 1 p.m. for the course at Andrews Air Force base, and his golfing parters included White House Trip Director Marvin Nicholson and David Katz, the energy efficiency campaign manager at the Department of Energy.
Obama left the course shortly before 6 p.m.
Nicholson and Katz, along with Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, joined Obama for four hours of golf last weekend. …
