Canadian Center for Policy Alternatives (where the alternative is socialism) decry tax cuts!

It’s like they’re mocking themselves!

Not moments after I read an excellent piece at the Canadian Taxpayers Federation and “re-tweeted” it at twitter.com/PTBC_dot_ca, I get this to choke on over my morning coffee:

“The new tax cut is bad news for BC.”

Here (as seen at left in the email capture graphic because you couldn’t possibly believe they’d actually say this) is just one part of my latest email dispatch from the extreme-left Canadian Center for Policy Alternatives, which my new email program, as I pointed out yesterday, warns me “may be a scam” — but it’s not supposed to be.

Note that the CCPA is seen as a completely “mainstream” organization by the likes of the CBC and most liberal media, and who I’ve pointed out many times in the past, the CBC and the rest of them don’t even bother to label with any political affiliation.  And as I also point out, they consistently label (i.e., warn) that, for example, the perfectly normal and good Fraser Institute as (alternate depending on the day) “right-wing”, or “right-of-center”, or “conservative”, or “politically right”, or (God, or I guess “Gaia” forbid) “capitalist”, or other such terms they seem to cast as a big negative.

The progressives at CCPA are AGAINST tax cuts.  AGAINST them.  Not tax cuts “for the rich” (that’s actually everyone in the over 14 G’s per year club—wink!), mind you, or for those evil “giant corporations” (that’s PTBC and giants like Fred’s Shoes—wink!)— we’re talking about tax cuts for all plain old families in BC.  They’re AGAINST them.

THAT’S progressive.

Vote progressive!
