Canada “shunned” a terrorist leader?

A CTV.ca reporter going by the name of “News Staff” wrote this morning,

After being shunned by visiting Foreign Affairs Minister Peter MacKay, Palestinian foreign minister Mahmoud Zahar said Canada is at risk of becoming an enemy of his people.

Somehow, I don’t think “shunned” is the right word when it is the long-held position of us folks in the sensible set to not negotiate with terrorists who have a habit of “shunning” Jews by blowing them and their babies to smithereens as often as humanly possible, and then swearing to Allah that they will wipe Israel off the face of the Earth—then occupy it.  But then I guess if you’ve got an agenda to drive, then “shunned” is the right word.

The venerable “Mr. or Ms. News Staff” then went on to say,

However, he didn’t meet with Zahar as Canada forbids diplomats from dealing with the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority.

Perhaps he just forgot, or didn’t see fit to mention that Hamas is an Islamofascist terrorist organization.

For their part, the CTV (same owner as Globe and Mail—Bell Globemedia) went ahead and gave the terrorist their web site to educate Canadians:

“For the sake of the future—one, two or three decades from now—the only way to help everybody, everywhere is to co-operate with the Islamic movements and Arabic countries because they are not your enemy.”

Bush is the enemy, dontchaknow.

“What is Israel providing you? Nothing. What are you achieving from such policies? What have you gained? Nothing, except the hatred of innocent people. If you would like to be the tail of the American dog, it’s up to you.
